Founded in 2022 by Alika Steyn, LIKA was created from a desire to offer a more considered approach to modern dressing.

As someone who has loved fashion from a young age, I was always searching for clothing that felt contemporary, beautifully made, and effortless to wear. While there was no shortage of trends, I found it difficult to find versatile pieces with exceptional fit, enduring quality, and timeless appeal. I wanted to create the pieces I was searching for myself.

LIKA exists to help women build wardrobes with intention. We believe that getting dressed should feel effortless, and that the right piece can inspire confidence, ease, and self-expression. Rather than following fast-moving trends, we focus on creating modern classics designed to be worn repeatedly, styled in different ways, and loved for years.

This slower, more intentional approach allows us to focus on quality rather than volume.

We proudly manufacture locally in South Africa. Producing close to home allows us to maintain high standards of craftsmanship, work closely with our makers, and support local skills and industry. It also enables us to create more thoughtfully, reducing excess inventory while contributing to the growth of our local economy.
